OPEN ROPES
a community jump rope program
Created in 2007, OPEN ROPES was our community double dutch program designed to bring jumpers of all backgrounds together in an accessible environment by hosting jump rope events in public spaces.

OPEN ROPES was FREE and open to all ages, skills, and jump styles. Our skilled instructors provided ropes and basic instruction in a fun block party environment!

Through OPEN ROPES we worked to build a community that encourages everyone to jump, regardless of experience, age, or gender. We believe that EVERY able-bodied person can double dutch and we were committed to creating double dutchers with every turn of the rope.
We concluded our OPEN ROPES program in 2021.
